Job Description
Financial Reporting and Compliances:
? Ensuring implementation of existing accounting standards and timely update and changes
required for new/revision in standards.
? Ensuring regular review of accounting policies and changes if any.
? All notes to accounts and grouping are prepared as per Ind AS and Sch III and other
Companies Act applicable requirements.
? To enable reporting ensuring availability of required reporting data from SAP and other
sources.
? Ensuring that all statutory auditors reporting area are under control and no adverse remarks
/ qualifications are given by auditors, unlesssame is due to factors beyond control of finance
department. This will cover main report on Ind AS financials, CARO and Internal Financial
Control over Financial Reporting.
? Pre-empting Emphasis of Matter, Key Audit matters and ensuring that all co-ordination is
done with operational department so no such matters are reported unless beyond control.
? Completing all accounts closure within timelines and getting the accounts audited within
timelines specified by management.
? Ensuring covering all important matters requiring Audit Committee and Board approval are
covered in the quarterly and annual accounts approval agenda.
? Ensuring proper Management Representation letter is drafted required by statutory
auditors representing facts and correct position.
? Ensuring quarterly audits and timely limited review report.
? Preparation of Interim financial results on time and as per SEBI formats. Compliance with
respect to Income Tax, VAT, Excise, Service Tax including timely statutory payments, filing of returns,
availing of input tax credit, determining applicability of tax for various type of transactions and
guiding the team.
