Job Description
- Responsible for Creating and updating the IMDS database and ensure all IMDS Product Structure is created.
- Liaise with IMDS Coordinator to ensure the submissions are accepted and closed by our Customers.
- Coordinate with the Product Engineers, to resolve any technical issues related to the IMDS Request.
- Coordinate with the IMDS Coordinator, to resolve any Customer and supplier issues.
- Manage the IMDS requests to success and deliverables.
- Report on a weekly bases to IMDS Coordinator.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Creating and Updating the IMDS database
- Full file expected IMDS declaration due date
Job Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years experience in engineering design and IMDS related activity - Required.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, Design processes, Bills of Materials - Required.
- To be able to work directly with people in multiple countries
- Good drawing interpretation skills – Required
- Good understanding of material science - Preferred
- Working knowledge of any Mechanical CAD tool is an advantage
- An ability to use a logical and analytical approach to trouble shooting and problem solving.
