Depth knowledge of L2 switching architecture and protocols
Ethernet, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN, ARP, MAC
Understanding and working knowledge of either of these protocols or in multiple protocols DHCP, PPP, IGMP, LACP, 802.1x, QoS, LLDP-MED, loop guard / loop detection & PoE (Power Over Ethernet).
Solid knowledge of telecommunication security (radius, 802.1x, )
Experience in testing above protocols, setting up test topologies to verify protocol implementation, scaling limits or performance.
Good knowledge about Wifi basics, Wifi Mesh
Experience in testing NMS/EMS products, Cloud based solutions
