Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to internal sales team and help develop business opportunities.
Primary Job Focus
• Understand the needs of the customer, develop application designs that meet these requirements.
Upsell and cross sell different technologies related to the data center.
Job Accountabilities
• Work with sales to provide pre- and post-sales application engineering support to provide additional value
to the customers. This will include traveling to customer facilities with sales personnel adding technical
expertise where required.
• Respond to RFPs by providing technical compliance statements and positioning the best suited OEM
solution as per the Tender specifications. Provide technical literature to support the compliance statement.
• Competition analysis.
• Provide engineering support to regional customer base and inside/outside sales personnel by answering
technical questions concerning power, cooling, and DC infrastructure requirement. Act as liaison between
regional/global customers and manufacturing/engineering by forwarding customer technical requests and
coordinating communication and follow-up with customers on results of request Role in the Sales Process
• Participate in bid response support to customers.
Provide any additional comments relative to the accountability / impact of this position.
Influence over technical decision: Direct influence, intender on the capabilities of TIM in
technical terms.
? Understanding and expertise in CAD and other equivalent tools to help customer with SLD
and CAD drawings wherever required.

RELATED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Mechanical / Electrical Engineer with minimum 5 years of work experience
SKILLS REQUIRED
• The candidate must have detailed knowledge of relevant products and standards.
• Good understanding of DC infrastructure (Electrical, Thermal, and Mechanical
requirement inside a DC.
• Hands on experience on design, delivery, and project management to build DC /Server rooms for
customer.
• CDCD /CDCP will be preferred.
• Connection with local Low side players for the implementation of Power and cooling requirement for
customers will be recommended.
• Excellent written and oral skills and must possess excellent presentation and hands-on
demonstration skills suitable for both large and small audiences.
