Job Description
1. Delivering lectures, conducting tutorials, and leading laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science.
2. Developing course curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments that align with program objectives and industry standards.
3. Mentoring and advising students on academic and career-related matters, including research projects, internships, and job opportunities.
4. Engaging in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations at conferences and seminars.
5. Participating in departmental meetings, committees, and other academic activities to contribute to the overall development of the department and the institution.
6. Collaborating with colleagues, industry partners, and other stakeholders to enhance the quality of education and research in the field of computer science.
Qualifications:
· A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized institution.
· Strong expertise in one or more areas of computer science, such as algorithms, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, software engineering, or computer networks.
· Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and inspire students.
· Proven track record of research accomplishments, including publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
· Proficiency in programming languages, software tools, and technologies relevant to the field of computer science.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
