Provide guidance and support to Application Developers
• Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning
• Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations
• Write and deploy patches, upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades
• Worked in high scale architecture handling high transactional velocity with high concurrency
• Build and maintain a robust data engineering process to develop and implement self-serve data and tools for Easebuzz data scientists
• Process work accurately and in a timely manner
• Always pay attention to detail
• Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements
• Collate, prepare and present statistical information for internal and external use
• Find opportunities to create, automate and scale repeatable analyses or build self-service tools for business users
• Execute data engineering projects ranging from small to large either individually or as part of a project team
• Ensure project delivery within timelines and budget requirements
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related information technology field
• 4 years of experience with database development and Architecture design
• Easily design and implement a business process into functional and efficient code
• Implement and manage company data management practices and policies
• Min 2 years of experience in administering, managing and tuning databases
• Min 3 years of experience with Postgres and Redshift
• Good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts
• Good understand database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Expertise in SQL and willing to learn data engineering aspect.
