Job Description: Job Responsibilities
Create a roadmap for IT and implement the same
Leverage new technologies to improve IT in the college
Manage information technology and computer systems
Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations as well as all educational technologies and information systems at NMIT
Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Preserve assets, information security and control structures
Manage annual budget for the IT department and ensure cost effectiveness
Software license management,
Procure hardware and software
Database administration
Asset management development/ updation of IT policies and guidelines
Monitor process, progress and results and track , analyse, monitor technology performance metrics
Supervise system infrastructure like ERP, LMS, Wifi, website, server etc. to ensure functionality and efficiency.
