Job Description
ROLE OBJECTIVE
? Responsible for effective account management of Modern Trade for categories of Spices, Edible Oils, and other staples, thereby maximizing sales revenues from the various product lines
? Lead the overall modern trade channel – develop & implement the sales strategy, monitor entire sales activity against goals in order to achieve the annual sales targets, expansion of the product portfolio assigned, to enhance & grow customer base for Modern Trade.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop Modern Trade sales strategy in alignment with the business vision for
achievement of annual sales targets, expansion & retention of customer base of
assigned portfolio
? Ensure research and reporting on future changes in the retail business and take into account these factors while planning of the business strategy, resources and
procedures
? Participate in the creation of the AOP at the Corporate level for customers and
portfolio assigned
? Create the annual modern trade sales budget and decide on the allocation for various
activities
? Design guidelines for development of channel partners & monitor the effectiveness of
all channel partners
? Use research and data to estimate competitive categories and brands, and grow share by category for each account. Develop an overarching strategy to grow the portfolio
? Lead the identification of select key accounts that contribute to the majority revenue) and create strategies to maximum revenue potential from these accounts
