Job Description
DG group set out on developing and operate C&I solar PV assets across the APAC region. Remote data monitoring and analysis is one of the key function to operate and manage the assets. The postion would be responsible to develop, onboard sites, and ,aintain the monitoring network, hardware and software tools and other solutions for all the DG projects across the APAC region.
- Design of remote monitoring solutions for DG projects.
- Implementation of monitorng solutions across DG assets in SEA. Working with the project management team and external contreactors to ensure the correct design and components are installed and configured.
- Support O&M and asset performance teams to manage the monitoring system of operational assets, generation data.
-Work with other members of monitoring team to identify and implement suitable tools to improve operational efficiencies
- these are not just limited to off the shelf tools but also custom tools such as CAMMS, Remote monitoring, Invoice generation.
- Develop solutions to meet customer and market demands - zero export, BESS integration, Curtailment loss estimation...

1) Testing and Commissioning Experiance on IoT devices

4) Testing and Commissioning Experiance on Dataloggers of (Huawei, Sungrow, Meteocontrol, Solarlog, Iplon,Power Factor, Inaccess Elum and Envision)
5) Hands on Experiance on Designing Monitoring solutions for Solar PV Projects (Including Device Selection and Following best practices)
6) Testing Commissioning Experiance of Power Plant controller and Zero Export Controller
7) Suffcient Knowledge required on the Working of (Solar PV Inverters, Energy Meters, Power Protection systems and Weather Station)
Software
1) Hands on Experience Microsoft Products (Teams, Sharepoint, Power Automate and Visio)
2) Hands on Experience over Designing and Handling Power BI Reports
3) Hands on Experience over SQL database management
4) Hands on Experience over Cloud Products of AWS
5) Hands on Experience over SCADA for utlity scale plants
Positon can be located in countries such as Phillipines, Vietnam, Thailand, India but rsponsbile for all the countries covered by APAC region.
1. Implemntation of Montoring tools and solutions (Cloud based Montioring system, CMMS).
2. Compliance to Total IT policies.
3. Work with vendors to comply to contractual performance indicators.
- Graduate degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing montoring solutions.
- Good knowledge of English language.
- Conversant with MSOffice. - Proficent in BI Tools (Power BI)
