Job Description
- Execute the Design & Development tasks for Customer Application programs through Voice of the customer adopting the standard.
- Engineering and company operating systems (i.e. C2C, engineering change requests, deviation procedures, BOM management and all associated QS 9000 TS- 16949 procedures, APQP and policies from RFQ acquisition and technical response to the start of mass production, and sustaining engineering and support for rapid resolution of quality warranty problems.
- Responsible from RFQ to PSW approval from Customer.
- Understanding customer requirement making Design proposals, customer approval, product validation and fit and function at vehicle and getting product approval from customer.
- Ensure all product designs are fully validated to OEM & specifications prior to release for production.
- Measure & Ensure Customer satisfaction, Quality, Cost and Delivery.
- Support Business Representatives for technical discussions with customers on standard products.
- Facilitate contacts with customers for other engineering departments
- Use the C2C process on all awarded programs.
- Assess and report performances for engineering sustaining related activities
- Support Operations on Quality Issues (8Ds, QRCM) and for In Process Testing if needed
- Support Purchasing on Material Price Variance (MPVs) and Technical Changes (TCs) Validation of MPVs
- Manage PDM System & CR Tracking locally
Special Requirements :
- Around 10 years’ experience in System or component design and development for the Automotive Industry.
- Knowledge & experience of working with local OEM’s.
- Project management experience will be an added advantage.
- International exposure will be an added advantage.
