They can be played by hitting any part of the drum with the palm of the hand or the finger tips. The textured surfaces provide additional tonal variations by creating rubbing sounds.

You pay for the quality you get. I think they’re thick & soft enough and the coloring is spot on. However, like other reviews, it was shipped not inside an Amazon box but the actual company slip packaging & the tape was already off with some of the pillow cover sticking out. They should change how they ship them, I would have given it 5 stars.

Why would you want anything else?

I don’t know why anyone would want pillow cases that don’t fit the pillow. These are “envelope” style meaning the pillow tucks inside them for a perfect fit—no “leftover” pillowcase sticking out on the end.
