The pad is glued to the squab frame and then needs to be trimmed to follow the outer edge of the frame. The white wadding material is then laid over this edge and softens the edge of the pad before the seat cover is fitted. This wallet is really nice. The stitching looks great and the materials appear to be solid. It’s exactly what I was looking for.
