It has a rich, reedy tonal quality, making it suitable for much of the baroque solo repertoire, with a stronger more reliable tone than cheaper models. My husband likes the shirt. Wears it and the others like it all the time. It's very soft, didn't shrink in the W/D and is true to size (Large fit 6'2" 190 lbs). Only complaint I have is the binding on the neck. It wasn't cut properly before being attached and is not smooth. This tells me this is a second.
