Elegia tectorumFormally known as Chondropetalum tectorum. This is a reed like perennial from South Africa. It is used to thatch the huts and houses in the bush. when mature it produces brown grass like flower spikes in autumn. It grows to a height of 1. 5m and looks stunning in the back of boarders for all year round evergreen colour. It prefers well drained moisture retentive, not waterlogged just moist year round, acidic soil in full sun. Hardy to 7c. As well as

Not interested in chewing this toy

Our corgi is a very aggressive chewer but just doesn’t like this toy. He’ll pick it up excitedly and run off with it only to drop it and walk away, as if he tastes something bad. He’s attempted to chew it a few times but will stop within a few seconds and just walk away. He’s done this at least 10 times. I can’t figure it out. This dog chews up everything, but leaves this toy alone. I had such great hopes for this chew toy. A big waste of money.

The best for my 3 extreme chewers!!

These are the only bones I buy!!! We have three extreme chewers, pitty, Great Dane, German Shepard, and they love these! They last for about 6 months or so before they get to small for my liking and I order more. That is amazing considering the "toughest" toys that are "indestructible" usually last three minutes max lol. I like that they are made of good ingredients and made in the USA, and they don't have any weird smells like some bones I've tried. They all go bananas when I get a new box in, definitely my only go to for extreme chewers!!
