I first learned of the amazing Lynda Barry when I was a kid reading Ernie Pook's Comeek. I have since read everything Lynda Barry has ever published - and every bit is a treasure. There is a kindness, wisdom, openness and compassion in everything she does. For me, her work is like a tonic and a salve. This book comes to me at the perfect time - the most painful and difficult year of my life. It is powerful and soothing. This is a work you will love and go back to again and again.
