These are made from aluminum filled, polished, cast resin and are molded off of an original fuse. We also colorize and seal the nose to look like a new fuse. It has taken many years of searching to find a fuse nice enough to create a mold from. Each fuse does show a little wear that was present on the original. You pay for the quality you get. I think they’re thick & soft enough and the coloring is spot on. However, like other reviews, it was shipped not inside an Amazon box but the actual company slip packaging & the tape was already off with some of the pillow cover sticking out. They should change how they ship them, I would have given it 5 stars.
