The flat circular saddle has an integrated rubber saddle pad, to prevent damage to the underside of the vehicle when in operation. It also provides extra grip to prevent slippage. I’ve only had this about a week but I like it so far. It has a hook that grabs the vent blade and is very sturdy. It also has a part that slides up and down. I realized after a few days that can be tightened as well. Makes the phone even more still. There is a small button on the right that releases the arms that grab the phone. I didn’t see that noted on the instructions so mentioning it here so no one pulls on them like I did a few times. As long as this doesn’t damage my vent, I will be pleased.
