Billing Boats - Hjejlen Steam Paddleboat 1:33King Frederik the Seventh sailed on the maiden vovage of the steamship Hjejlen from Silkeborg to Himmelbjerget ( Sky Mountain) in Denmark on the 24th of June 1861. She was built by Baumgartner and Wain which later became Burmeister & Wain. This company had earlier built two steamers, and Hjejlen was, in her time, a technical marvel. The originally installed machinery is still in use in todays copy which sails on the lakes around Silkeborg today.

We needed a smaller comforter for our RV bed to limit overhang and this one seemed like a good fit and we were right. The print is conservative and modern in appearance. The feel and thickness are perfect for our typical use in a warm weather state that we camp in year round. Last trip out it got pretty cold overnight and we let our dog sleep on our bed. When we returned home we washed it for the first time. I held my breath to see what condition it would be in afterwards and it came out in great condition. While we were using it, we noticed the weight, texture and comfort were all where we needed it to be and therefore we would recommend this if you needed an RV Queen sized comforter without breaking the bank.

If you’re looking for a weighted or very thick comforter, this isn’t it, but for a lightweight option it does the job well. We have a split California King Sleep Number (two Twin XL bases) and I ordered the California King size. It fits, but the side drop is pretty short. Next time I would go with an oversized King or oversized California King for better coverage. Bonus: no weird chemical smell when I opened the package, which is always a win.
