«Don Martin» White RumZuckerrohrmelasse ist ein Nebenprodukt der Zuckerherstellung. Die Melasse muss mit Wasser verdnnt werden, um sie zu vergren. Danach wird sie destilliert und fr weissen Rum eine gewisse Zeit gelagert (bei mir 2 Jahre). Wird das gleiche Destillat fr ein paar Jahre in einem Holzfass gelagert, wird es einen braunen Rum (oder auch Barrique genannt). Die Eichenfasslagerung kann bis 40 Jahre dauern. Alkoholgehalt: 42 % vol. Zutaten: Zuckerrohrmelasse
