I take as little onboard as possible. I check everything. This holds my 13" MacBook Air easily along with my makeup bag, regular purse junk with room left for a pile of snacks. It did have a strong odor when I took it out of the box but I've had it about a week and it seems to have disapated. I wish the handles were a little longer so I could throw it over my shoulder, I'm not someone who will use the strap. Straps and handles are just weird to me. There are tons of pockets though! Definitely a good purchase!
